8. A New Formation: Ino-Shika-Cho!
For those who love Team 10, you shouldn't miss out on this filler episode which focuses on Ino, Shikamaru, and Choji on episode 145 of Original Naruto series. In this episode, we get to see Team 10 team up with an awesome new formation to fight off the idiot brothers after Naruto had to deal with them in the last episode.
This leaves Naruto free to go after Iruka, who is fighting an old childhood friend of his named Mizuki. Most of the past is filler but it is worth watching as filler
7. The Search for the Rare Bikochu Beetle
Here is a great episode to watch if you like Team 8, and especially if you like Shino and Hinata. In episode 148 of Original Naruto series, to find Sasuke, Naruto grows increasingly desperate and tries to find the rare bikochu beetle, which can supposedly track any scent. Naruto and Team 8 go on a hunt for this special beetle.
We also discover that Hinata was trying to learn a new defensive technique on her own and was getting close to mastering it. There are some sweet Naruto and Hinata moments in the episode for those who like their relationship. Don't miss this episode if u like Hinata.
6. Blaze Away, Byakugan! This is my Ninja Way!
There are many characters in Naruto that are immediately directed to the realm of uselessness, but episode 151 of Original Naruto series proves that Hinata is not one of them. After her original fight with Negi during the Chunin Exams, she had already proved how tough her fighting spirit was, but when the rest of her team is captured, Hinata steps up to face three ninja on her own. Of course, the highlight of this episode is when she used her Protective 8 Trigrams 64 Palm to ward off a swarm of bees. Just like Naruto, Hinata pushed herself to her limits during her own training to earn the respect of her fellow ninja, providing a glimpse of the similarities between her and Naruto
5. Twelve Guardian Ninja Arc
There are filler arcs that can be just as meaningful as the main story. In this batch of episodes from 54 to 71, Naruto is haunted by nightmares of when he went berserk with the Nine-Tail's power and undergoes training to use a wind-style chakra technique. Later he meets a monk in-training named Sora who turns out to have a portion of the Nin-Tailed Fox's chakra in him too.
This action-filled arc sets up major plot points such as Naruto's "Rasenshuriken" technique and the buildup to Danzo's true nature, while also making for a pretty entertaining original story. Lot of people hate this arc because somehow they clone nine tails. Besides that this arc is worth watching.
4. Hot-Blooded Confrontation: Student vs Sensei
When Guy is trapped by a ninja with the power to control wooden dummies, Lee, Tenten, Negi, and Naruto come to his aid. What follows is a fight between master and student as Lee and Guy push themselves to their limits to shatter the dummies that mimic the other's movements. Though intense, it's an emotional fight as they both ninja realize that the further they push themselves, the more vulnerable to death they'll be, and Guy even promises to die with Lee should anything happen to him. With that level of honor, it becomes clear why Lee aspires to be so much like Guy.
3. Tsunade's Dream
Everything was a mess until Madara activates the Infinite Tsukuyomi. After that everyone fell asleep in a good long dream. That time Tsunade dreams of being given Jiraiya's latest work and recalls when he was still writing it. She begins reading it.
The thing that happened in Konohagakure and the thing is happening in Tsunade's dream was quite opposite. She dreams of a peaceful and nice world. Where Kushina, Minato, and Jiraiya are still alive. Also, Sasuke is not a bad guy at all. It is cool to see how she saw everyone with his perspective.
2. Kakashi's Anbu Arc
From episode 349 to 361, they show us a little bit of Kakashi's early days as an Anbu. This arc flashes back to Kakashi's history with the Anbu during events such as the Nine-Tailed Fox's attack, Orochimaru's defection, and the Uchiha slaughter.
You can honestly skip it up until Itachi joins the ANBU. The stuff with Orochimaru and the smoke ninjas aren't too interesting unless you wanna see a little bit of Yamato's backstory. But this arc is very enjoyable if you are interested in Kakashi, Yamato, and Itachi.
1. Indra and Ashura's arc
After the end of the Fourth Great Shinobi War, Indra and Ashura's arc begun. In this arc, Asura and his friends are attacked by the wild boar, which kills their dog Shiro. Asura struggles to perform ninshu, but Indra arrives in time to save him. Asura notices a change in Indra's eyes, which have awakened the Sharingan. Indra confronts Black Zetsu, who tells him to use those eyes to see the truth.
It is a very interesting story that how they become so powerful and 1st user of ninshu after hagoromo. They invented the hand signs. This arc is accidentally a filler. It is worth watching.
