When it comes to anime. There are many gems that you may have missed.

Nowadays, Searching for popular/trending anime is not a big deal. Except for popular, many masterpieces touched the heart of fans. But, it was a misfortune that they made them go unnoticed (underrated).

Here are some Most Underrated Anime of all time that you should watch.


1. Angels of Death

13-year old Rachel awakens to find herself trapped in the basement of an unfamiliar building. Upon meeting a serial killer wrapped in bandages, she begs him to kill her. As his only wish is to leave the building alive, he agrees to do so if she would help him escape. A strange bond is struck between them, held by a bizarre promise. These two, trapped in this building, don't know why fate has placed them there. But they worked together desperately to find a way out.

With such a horror adventure in only 16 episodes. Somehow it didn't gain that much attention. But it is worth watching.


2. Charlotte

Charlotte takes place in an alternate reality where a small percentage of children manifest superhuman abilities upon reaching puberty. A focus is placed on Yuu Otosaka, a high school boy who awakens the ability to temporarily possess others, which brings him to the attention of Nao Tomori, the student council president of a school founded as a haven for children with such abilities.

With supernatural abilities and super twists, it gets to the next level. 


3. Orange

In Matsumoto high school, Naho Takamiya, a second-year high school student, receives a letter written to herself from 10 years in the future. As Naho reads on, the letter repeats the exact events of the day, including the transfer of a new student into her class named Kakeru Naruse. The Naho from ten years later repeatedly states that she has many regrets. Her future self asks her to prevent her "biggest regrets", which has something to do with the new transfer student from Tokyo, a boy named Kakeru Naruse.

The shocking is that she discovers that ten years later, Kakeru will no longer be with them.

What will happen to him? Where will he go? Like this, this anime is full of suspense, a little bit of romance, and much more. This anime deserves a little more attention.

Give a try to this anime. Its story will take your heart to it.


4. Mushi-shi

Ginko, who can see ethereal beings called Mushi. A lot of people can not see or interact with Mushi. Ginko is an expert traveling around to investigate a primeval life-form, the "Mushi," and helping people with Mushi-related supernatural problems.

The paranormal and surreal experiences Ginko goes through while dealing with the Mushi are cool insights on Japanese superstition, and very enticing to follow.

This anime is fantasy anime with a total of 26 episodes.


5. Death Parade

Whenever someone dies, they are sent to one of many mysterious bars run by bartenders serving as arbiters inside a tower in the afterlife... The series follows Decim, the lone bartender of the bar where people who died at the same time are sent to, known as the Quindecim bar, and his assistant.

This is an isekai anime. It's kinda funny to see how the afterlife is.


6. Eden of the East

Eden of the East is suspense, drama and romance all bundled up into 11 episodes. A mysterious man has his memories erased and discovers that he's part of a game where he has to save Japan with only ¥10 billion. If all the money gets used up, his game is over. Eden of the East is accompanied by 3 films, Air Communication (a compilation film), The King of Eden, and Paradise Lost, which accompany the series beautifully. Fans of thrillers, mysteries, and high-tech will enjoy this one.


7. Ergo Proxy

In a post-apocalyptic future, humans live in peace with androids in a domed city. where humans and Auto Rev androids coexist peacefully until a virus gives the androids self-awareness, causing them to commit a series of murders. Murders have intruded into bored inspector Re-l Mayer's life.

It's cool to see how they continue on living.


8. Paranoia Agent

Paranoia Agent involves street assaults, victims, detectives, and a mysterious "Bat Boy" (AKA "Lil" Slugger") that brings them all together. The anime has a lot of satirical and existential paranormal aspects and is very enjoyable to follow if you're a fan of dark thrillers.

Although Paranoia Agent had a brief run on Adult Swim.


9. Parasyte: The Maxim

17-year-old Shinichi Izumi, a high school boy whose right hand becomes possessed by an alien Parasite named Migi. monsters that butcher and consume humans. He must learn to co-exist with the creature if he is to survive both the life of a Parasyte and human, as part monster, part person.

Also, he finds himself in a battle against other Parasites who feast on other humans. 

This is a Horror anime. It is an interesting anime to watch. Although it didn't get that much attention.


10. Hyouka

Houtarou is usually quite apathetic, however, when his sister forces him to join the classic literature club at Kamiyama High School, his worldview begins to change. Once there, he discovers some information regarding an incident surrounding one of the members' uncle. Together with Eru Chitanda, an always-curious girl, this unassertive boy delves deeper into this mystery.

If you like comedy, drama animes, you should check this. Hyouka is a mystery anime too. This anime is filled with thrills... However, despite all this, it is worth watching.
