Guys...! I recently finished Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood and really it was super awesome. Don't worry I won't give u any spoiler, But still I will try to give u my honest review.
Let's see where can I start...
Let me introduce you to the main characters first...
1) Edward Elric
2) Alphonse Elric
These two brothers are the main protagonists of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood.
Alchemy-
In Fullmetal Alchemist, Alchemy is kinda scientific or kinda magical thing in which they deconstruct something and then reconstruct it into something else whatever they want, on the basis of chemistry by drawing a circle. The people who can use alchemy, others call them as Alchemist.
Short Summary-
Once, somehow Edward and Alphonse's mother died. So they tried to transmute their mom back to life. Means they tried to recreate her. That time Edward lost his one arm and one leg, and Alphonse lost his whole body. But gain nothing in return. So they went on journey to somehow regain their original bodies.
Difference between Fullmetal Alchemist(FMA) and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood(FMA: B)-
I watched both FMA and FMA: B. Some episodes of both anime in start follows the same story but in the end both are totally different. There is no link between those two animes. FMA: B has lots of twist than FMA.
Story in FMA so straight forward, on the other hand in FMA: B story is so twisted and interesting.
If u ask me what to watch. I will suggest u to drop the idea to watch FMA and watch directly FMA: B.
Review-
First of all, I have seen the original FMA and although it was very popular and original, the pacing and conclusion did not sit too well with me. But Brotherhood is meant to be a remake of the original. And there is only one word to explain it- EPIC
The animation in FMA Brotherhood is crisp and very well done. Compared to the original FMA it's a bit simpler. The facial emotions of the characters are also perfectly presented. The action scenes are brilliant and VERY well animated, with a variety of alchemy techniques and other talents. Various battles are seriously exciting to watch, also it gets more better towards the end.
Now, lets move on to the characters. In FMA they focused mainly on Ed and Al and on their struggle to regain their body. On the other hand FMA Brotherhood did a great job to introducing other characters to the great detail at the same time. Lots of other characters will introduce in FMA: B, and I'm sure u will like them as well.
In the end it deserves to be on top place with 9.1 IMDb rating.
